Our new school focused platform offers a structured administration system to allow a school staff and administrators to easily manage day-to-day school website tasks while removing the need to design or manipulate any pages.
Having worked with several schools over the years – we could see patterns emerging in the way schools needed to operate, the requirements to display certain policies and information to meet regulatory requirements.
Our approach previously was to create school websites based on WordPress a popular CMS and Blog platform – however we found it offered a little too much flexibility in terms of layouts and design and over complicated what should be easy tasks – a key one being document management. Users would “find a way” to get things done often producing an over complicated experience to user / parent.
At the heart of our system is an easy to use content management system and document management , which allows documents to be uploaded and assigned to information sections, classrooms, letters pages, curriculum and policy areas. This means a single document can be shown pretty much anywhere, and when this document needs to be updated or removed it need only to be done once, or indeed removed automatically.
We believe the user interface is intuitive and easy to use and the front end of the website to be easy to navigate and uncomplicated, this is reflected in the feedback so far.
We design a custom homepage and colour scheme to fit with the schools branding and ethos, showcasing the schools key values and vision.
Information
Display your school statutory and non-statutory information here, adding relevant documents. Secure any information page with a password for teachers or staff for example.
Show your curriculum information here, this area is pre-populated with the standard curriculum subjects which you can quickly add content to. Such as external links and documents.
Create pages for each classroom, add a personal intro and description, assign teachers and staff to the classroom if required. Easily link to external resources such as TT Rockstars on the page. Show relevant documents and downloads.
Add a class avatar to give individuality to your class pages.
Create staff profiles with an optional bio / about text, image and assign them to a classroom and assign as SENCO etc.
Create a staff page populated from the teachers and staff area. Show as a list or a grid view with teachers a picture or illustration drawn by the pupils.
Custom governors areas add a profile and picture. This will populate the governors page automatically.
Showcase your schools awards by displaying them on the website.
Events and date calendar Management with ICAL export to this allows parents to subscribe to your events calendar, create events quickly and easily on the admin area.
Import iCal external calendars and display on your website.
Display as a list or a full calendars view.
Easily manage documents, assign them to the any section of the website. Assign an expiry date so they are automatically expired flagged for review and deleted if required. Edit once rather than in multiple areas. Mark documents as statutory and schedule document reviews.

Our system offers a global reactive search which includes all documents and content to allow easy location of school information, curricula, policies and documents.
Custom design , look and feel sat on top of the school platform to give your school a unique look whist keeping the website organised and up-to-date. Mobile, tablet and desktop friendly.
Our platform is hosted, maintained and regularly backed up. We do not offer this product on a self-hosted basis. Included is image optimisation and a CDN to deliver a fast loading responsive website.
Automatic daily backups.
We are looking to get local schools on board, currently we have 2 local schools and one about to switch over from WordPress. It’s a relatively new product and we are open to suggestions for new features as long as we believe it will not over complicate the system.
We are at the end of the phone and you will never be asked to create a support ticket.
