*Included email is subject to using our hosting packages. Included SSL requires name servers to be set to our name servers. Where this is not possible an additional charge of £40 is applied for a manually installed SSL.
Hosting
We provide hosting for website also. We prefer to develop your website and host it ourselves this means we know where to look if any issues do arise. We have 99.8% uptime on our hosting platform. Please contact us for costs as we provide heavier duty servers for some projects where more memory or processing power is needed. Your hosting for the 1st year is included on all our packages.
CMS – What is a CMS ?
We build all our websites on a CMS platform – acronym for Content Management System, this enables you to update certain elements of the content yourself e.g. text amendments and image changes. If you can use a wordprocessor you can edit our websites.
Design
Mobile friendly websites are standard now through responsive design. However its good to know your audience so we can build your site to suit .Responsive design, this effectively means that the website pages stretch and fold down to suit the device that you are using to view the web page on. So for example on an iPhone where the screen width is 480 pixels wide on a non-retina display device , the web site would shrink to accommodate, hiding certain unnecessary elements to improve the browsing experience.
